What is the submission process?

Submission ProcessThe submission process is the way you can request for us to do some work for you. It works in a similar fashion to most on-line shops and services whereby you create a project object with us that has details about the project you would like for us to work on. It also allows you to upload your art file so that we can see how the website template should look.

The process starts with the Submission Wizard. This is a tool that collects information about the web project. It is a "wizard" style tool that is similar to the flow of many Windows programs you will find on your computer. When you run the Submission Wizard you are asked for information that we need to create the Website Template. Each step of the wizard is organised logically to capture your preferences. You can use the Next and Previous buttons to step forward and backwards through the wizard until you are happy with your choices.

1 - The Submission Wizard

Submission ProcessThe Submission Wizard will have default positions with all options. You can change your selections at any time prior to submission. If you don't understand what is being asked there is an online help function accessed by clicking the blue speech balloon.

The last step of the Wizard asks you if you would like to upload your art file now. You can click the "File Upload Wizard" to upload your art file to our servers. If you don't have the art file ready you can upload the file just before checkout. You will not be able to checkout a web project unless we have a valid art file from you and this will be checked prior to accepting payment.

2 - Your Project Trolley

Submission ProcessWhen you have completed the Submission Wizard a new item will be added to your project trolley. A lamp will be shown reminding you that a project exists waiting to be checked out. If you click on the link the project trolley page will be shown with your submission. If you uploaded an art file the name will also be shown in the File Upload column. If you haven't uploaded an art file yet a temporary "awaiting image" file will be shown.

From this page you can either:

  • Run the Submission Wizard Again to add another project
  • Remove all your project trolley items
  • Checkout the project/s

3 - Checkout

Submission ProcessIn order to checkout a project you need to register with us. If you click on the "Checkout" button from your Project Trolley a message will ask you if you have a existing user account.

If you don't have an account then you have not registered with us yet. The New Registration Wizard will be shown which will allow you to register with eMockups.

If you do have an account with us but you are not logged in you will be asked for your username and password to continue. After login you will be shown a conversion page. Your project trolley items need to be converted to make them easily editable. Click the "Convert" button to convert your project items. Then click the continue button to be directed to the Google Checkout page.

4 - Google Checkout

The Google Checkout page shows the items ready for checkout. It shows all converted project items and totals the amounts per submission. You can click on the Google Checkout button which will direct you to the Google checkout page. You will need to follow the instructions to complete the Google Checkout transaction.

If you haven't uploaded an art file you will be prompted to do so. Google Checkout cannot be run with a valid art file upload.

Once you have checked out a project and made your payment with Google Checkout we will be notified and will check your submission for errors. We will also check your submitted art file. If all our checks are OK your payment will be accepted and you will recieve an email from us telling you that work on your Project will be scheduled to commence.

If for any reason your submission fails our checks we will not take payment and will contact you via email.
